If My Heart Had Wings can't save, doesn't run correctly

When I play If My Heart Had Wings I get a "Critical Error" every few minutes into the game.

Solution

The error comes from the program not having the permissions needed to save data. You should be able to fix this issue by either: (1) running the game as admin, (2) changing the folder permissions to allow all users to write to the game's folder, or (3) move the game's folder to a different location, like My Documents.
